
Kirt H. Wilson teaches a number of courses for Penn State University. At the undergraduate level, he is responsible for
CAS 101N: Introduction to Human Communication, a survey of the communication discipline and the Communication Arts & Sciences Major. In addition, Dr. Wilson offers undergraduate coursework in Methods of Rhetorical Criticism, Political and Cultural Rhetorics of the 1960s, and Contemporary African American Communication.
At the graduate level, Dr. Wilson teaches seminars for masters and doctoral students across three broad domains–rhetorical criticism, theories of African American rhetorical practice, and political communication. Most recently, he has taught graduate seminars titled, Methods of Textual Criticism; Rhetoric, Race, and Culture; Social Movements as Rhetorical Contestation.
